ADMISSIONS PROCESS
It is truly a joy to witness the transformation of students who begin their educational journey at Farber’s Early Childhood Center and graduate 12 years later as self-assured teenagers, fully prepared to excel in high school. We are thrilled to embark on this educational journey with you and your child!
We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to introduce your child to our program, which is rooted in strong values and centered around play-based learning. Together, we will embark on a school year filled with abundant opportunities for growth, joyous laughter, and delightful fun!

Why Farber
Admissions Process
We’re eager to welcome you and your family and show you what makes Farber special. We’ll guide you through the application and enrollment process. Andrea Strosberg is our Director of Admissions and invites you to reach out via email or phone: andrea.strosberg@farberhds.org / (248) 386-1625.
Farber when school is in session for a tour to see us in action and so we can begin to get to know each other. Prospective students in grades 1 and higher shadow for all or part of a school day and meet with administrators, who do some brief academic testing. Summer visits and tours can be accommodated when necessary.
This is the way you let us know formally that you are interested in having your child(ren) attend Farber. Our application is free and quick to complete. You’ll need to attach a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
Additional information is needed, such as a records release form, so we can obtain records from your child’s current or previous school(s). We will also need a completed recommendation form from the student’s current teacher(s).
Applications are on a rolling basis and admissions decisions are made 1-4 weeks after the application and all accompanying documents are received. We will contact you if we need any additional information. Admissions at Farber is “need-blind”: students are considered for admission without regard to their family’s intent to apply for financial aid.
Families will be notified by email and will need to complete the registration form and pay a $300 registration fee to hold the student’s spot.
After you create an account and submit your tuition assistance application through the FACTS system, a committee will review your request and notify you of its decision.
Your child must be up to date on immunizations, submit a health appraisal from a doctor, and pay the first month’s tuition through the FACTS system.
