Akiva Chanukah Video Challenge!
Attention Akiva Students in grades 6-11 and Families:
Students, Groups of students, or Families are challenged to make a unique Chanukah video, like this one video sample 1 or this one video sample 2 , but better!
Videos should be uploaded to YouTube and the link should be emailed to the school (info@akiva.org). Each participant will receive a small prize. Judges will nominate the top 3 videos that will be posted to Akiva’s Facebook page. The public (you!) will then vote (by liking and sharing the videos on Facebook) for your favorite video. The participants of the winning video will receive a fantastic prize and will most definitely gain SuperChanukahPowers and world fame.
There are some rules:
1. Video must have the Akiva logo in it somewhere once
2. Must be a Chanukah related song
3. No girls singing alone
4. Should be funny, frum, and fantastic
5. Videos should be no longer than 6 minutes in length.
Deadline for video submission to info@akiva.org : 6:00 pm on Monday, November 25th, the 22nd of Kislev. (Remember, you are sending a link from YouTube to the school. Subject line should say Chanukah Video Challenge. Body of the email should contain the link and the names of participants of the video.)
The three nominated videos will be shown at breakfast on the first day of Rosh Chodesh, the 6th day of Chanukah, Tuesday, December 3rd, votes will then be open to the public. Whichever Video has the most combined likes and shares on Facebook by noon on the second day of Rosh Chodesh, Wednesday, December 4th, the 7th day of Chanukah, will be the winner! Winners Ceremony will be held at Mincha.
